³ if ^(A)the foundations are destroyed,
    what can the righteous do?”^[a]
4 (B)The Lord is in his holy temple;
    the Lord's ^(C)throne is in heaven;
    his eyes see, his eyelids ^(D)test the children of man.
⁵ The Lord ^(E)tests the righteous,
    but ^(F)his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
